Financing & referral disclosures

Clear boundaries before the first conversation.

Andrew provides independent SBA education, input-based planning tools, and—when requested—introductions to independent financing providers. This page explains that role, how compensation may work, and where Andrew's role ends.

01

Independent educational guide and referral source

Andrew Eddy and Your SBA Guy are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the U.S. Small Business Administration. Andrew is not a lender, Certified Development Company, or SBA representative. This website does not accept a loan application or make eligibility, credit, underwriting, approval, pricing, closing, or funding decisions.

02

Education and planning—not a recommendation

The Free SBA Game Plan, calculators, comparisons, readiness scores, checklists, and explanations organize information and questions from the facts a visitor provides. They do not select a lender, recommend a financial product, or replace transaction- specific advice from a lender, CDC, attorney, accountant, tax professional, or other qualified adviser.

03

Free to the visitor; referral relationship disclosed

Andrew does not charge visitors for the educational guidance, planning tools, Free SBA Game Plan, or introductory referral support offered on this website. If Andrew introduces a lender and financing closes, that lender or another financing participant may pay Andrew a referral fee. The possibility of that compensation is disclosed before a visitor asks for an introduction. It does not increase the likelihood of approval or guarantee any result.

04

Lender fees, rates, and terms are separate

A lender, CDC, closing professional, appraiser, attorney, or other provider may charge fees connected with an eventual financing transaction. Those charges are not set by this website. Actual rates, fees, repayment terms, collateral, guarantees, injection requirements, and closing costs depend on current program rules and the providers involved. Request and review their written disclosures before proceeding.

05

No approval, pricing, or timing promise

Calculators, reports, comparisons, readiness scores, timelines, and written explanations are educational illustrations. They are not applications, approvals, credit decisions, commitments, term sheets, legal opinions, or guarantees of eligibility, timing, rate, payment, or closing. A lender and, where applicable, a CDC perform the controlling review.

06

Introductions and SBA fee disclosure

An introduction is not an endorsement of every product a lender offers and does not mean every possible lender was considered. SBA identifies referral agents and other compensated third parties within its agent-fee framework. When a transaction requires an SBA fee-disclosure form, Andrew will provide the information and signatures needed for the lender and other parties to complete the current process. See the official SBA Form 159 page.

07

Research, current rules, and corrections

Program summaries are written from official SBA materials and separate published rules from lender-specific practice. Current SBA rules, lender policy, and the facts of the transaction control. Read the site's research standards and confirm material decisions directly with the professionals involved in the project.

08
